Help for the Hot Seat

On our return trip from visiting Gloria Struck in the summer of 2016, my sweetie and I were in Gettysburg, PA and it was really, really, really hot….. like Africa hot.   The kind of hot when you don’t want your wheels to stop turning for anything because, you might yell curse words at red lights and stop signs ’cause …remember…. it’s Africa hot.  So, you get the point, it was hot.

Taking a well deserved rest from the heat, we were in Battlefield Harley-Davidson where I purchased an accessory, that during hot weather, I don’t leave home without.  IMG_6020It’s known as a “circulator seat pad” (made by H-D) and it is wonderful.   It’s a seat pad that promotes air movement and reduces heat build-up.

On a personal note, I have found that it reduces sweating and heat rash in those “areas” closest to the seat.   There’s an extra benefit, you don’t have that super toasty seat after your motorcycle has been sitting in the sun.

There you have it, my suggestion for  the “Hot Seat”.  Anyone want to offer their hot weather suggestions?
